Pneumatic frame hangars for logistics and warehouses

Contact us now!
We will reply within 24 hours:
1. Production, delivery and assembly timelines
2. Turnkey cost of a logistics hangar or rental option

We manufacture and install custom hangars in 2 to 5 weeks. No foundations. Fully mobile and modular.

PanHorizon designs and manufactures pneumatic hangars for logistics storage, temporary warehouses and distribution centres. Thanks to their classification as temporary structures, permits are obtained much faster and at lower cost. The structure is designed to be scalable: you are not obliged to build a large warehouse from the start.

Advantages of pneumatic hangars for logistics:

Our production capacity reaches 20,000 m² of structures per month. We deliver and install hangars in English-speaking African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Liberia, Sierra Leone and others.
  • Modularity — start with 500 m² and extend the structure in one day
  • No new permit required — classified as a temporary structure
  • Flexible rental from 1 month
  • Very fast installation and dismantling (2–10 days)
  • Complete absence of internal supports
  • No foundations
  • Technical networks already planned for future extension

Fast extension without formalities

Unlike metal hangars, our pneumatic structures are fully modular. You can start with an area of 500 m² and extend it later in a single day on the already prepared platform. No new structural calculation, no new building permit. The connection points for technical networks are integrated from the initial design. This flexibility significantly reduces costs and timelines when opening a new site or a new region.
Why a pneumatic hangar is preferable to a metal hangar for logistics and warehouses
When choosing a structure for logistics storage or a distribution centre, the decisive criteria are speed of commissioning, the possibility of progressive extension, the absence of foundations and the overall operating cost.
A classic metal hangar has several major limitations:
  • Internal supports that reduce usable space and complicate the movement of handling equipment
  • The need for heavy foundations and complex building permits
  • Construction timelines of several months
  • High cost and difficulty of expanding the structure later
In contrast, a pneumatic structure is installed on a prepared site in just a few days, without permanent foundations. It can start with an area of 500 m² and be extended in a single day on the same platform, without a new project or a new building permit. Classified as a temporary structure, it obtains permits much faster and at lower cost. The structure can also be dismantled, transported and reinstalled on another site according to operational needs. Over the full life cycle, it is often more economical thanks to flexible rental, very short timelines and the possibility of modular extension.
How we work
We receive your request
Within one business day we clarify the need, the starting area (for example 500 m²) and the site conditions.
We prepare the project
We calculate wind loads, plan the anchoring points and the connections for the engineering systems, including for future extension.
We manufacture the frame
All joints are made by high-frequency and thermal welding. Every joint is tested for airtightness.
We install and connect
We install the hangar on site and connect ventilation, lighting, video surveillance and the other networks.
We will answer any questions
QUESTION:
What keeps the structure standing?
ANSWER:
A valve system regulates the pressure in the frame, releasing or adding air as needed.
QUESTION:
How often is inflation required?
ANSWER:
The system works automatically and activates only when necessary — continuous inflation is not required.
QUESTION:
Is the structure sensitive to power outages?
ANSWER:
No. The equipment can operate from a solar panel and can easily withstand power interruptions of several hours.
QUESTION:
How long does it take to install a logistics hangar?
ANSWER:
On average from 2 to 10 days, depending on the size of the structure.
QUESTION:
Is a foundation required?
ANSWER:
The hangars are installed on a prepared site without a permanent foundation. Sand ballast or anchoring engineering systems are used for this.
QUESTION:
Can a hangar be designed for a specific type of logistics storage?
ANSWER:
Yes. We size each structure according to the characteristics of your logistics storage need and your specific requirements.
QUESTION:
What is the service life of a pneumatic hangar?
ANSWER:
With proper operation — more than 25 years.
QUESTION:
Do you work with logistics companies and government clients?
ANSWER:
Yes. We carry out projects for both private logistics companies and government organisations and subcontractors.
QUESTION:
Which African countries do you work with?
ANSWER:
We have a branch in Togo and, from the port of Lomé, we ship hangar assembly kits in sea containers across English-speaking Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Liberia, Sierra Leone and others) and the Middle East.

Why choose PanHorizon pneumatic hangars for logistics and warehouses?

The design of facilities intended for logistics storage, goods warehouses and distribution centres in West and Central Africa imposes strict technical requirements. Pneumatic-frame structures with PVC membrane have been developed to precisely meet these environmental and operational constraints.
Wind load calculations are set in the range of 35 to 45 m/s depending on the exposure of the site and the region of installation. These values guarantee the stability of the structure even on open platforms frequently subjected to strong winds. Snow loads, although secondary in most of the climatic zones concerned, are included between 80 and 150 kg/m² to ensure versatility of use. The operating temperature range extends from –50 °C to +70 °C, covering the extreme conditions of the Sahelian regions as well as more temperate or high-altitude zones.
The envelope is made of reinforced PVC membrane with a density of 650 to 900 g/m² and a thickness of 0.55 to 0.80 mm. The outer white layer is equipped with a high-performance UV filter that reflects the maximum of solar rays. Inside the air chambers a black blackout membrane is systematically used, which completely blocks the penetration of light. This double design prevents the sun from heating the interior surface of the hangar and helps maintain a lower temperature compared with a non-insulated metal structure. The material offers high tensile strength, excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation, good resistance to humidity and meets fire behaviour requirements (classification G1 / RP2 / B2).
The expected service life of the structure exceeds 25 years under normal operating conditions. The automatic internal pressure regulation system operates in the range of 1.5 to 3.0 kPa and intervenes only in the event of a significant variation. The required electrical power varies from 0.7 to 8 kW depending on the covered area, which limits energy consumption, particularly on remote sites where the power supply is limited.
All membrane joints are made exclusively by high-frequency and thermal welding. No sewing or glue is used. This method guarantees lasting airtightness and superior mechanical strength of the joints throughout the service life of the structure. Fixing points for technical networks (ventilation, lighting, video surveillance, fire detection) are integrated from the design stage, allowing precise adaptation to the specific needs of each warehouse or distribution centre.
The complete absence of internal supports maximises the usable volume and facilitates handling operations, the storage of pallets, containers and bulky goods. The structure is designed to easily accept the integration of racking systems, loading docks and handling equipment.

PVC pneumatic structure VS metal hangar for logistics
Many logistics clients compare not only the price, but also the speed of installation, the possibility of extension and the flexibility of use. Pneumatic structures win on all of these points.
  • No condensation on the structure
  • No internal supports
  • Very fast installation and dismantling
  • No foundation required
  • No heavy construction equipment required
  • Full airtightness thanks to the absence of seams
